INNOVATION ON THE MARKET: A RADIATOR WITH SILVER IONS
The radiator is covered with the special Interpon AM coating by AkzoNobel with BioCote® antimicrobial technology. It is an agent with active silver ions that prevent the microorganisms, such as bacteria, moulds and fungi from reproducing and surviving.
The properties of silver have been known for a long time, even since antiquity. It was used to coat dishes, which prevented diseases from spreading. People also threw coins into the water to extend its durability. The radiator with silver ions will not have any negative influence on our or our children's health. Importantly, silver ions cannot be washed away or damaged, so they will remain active throughout the entire lifetime of the product. The effectiveness of BioCote® technology has been proven by many certificates ‒ it reduces the number of microorganisms by up to 99.99%.
